Following the devastating effects of hurricanes Irma and Maria, which have left the island of Puerto Rico without power, and many of the residents homeless, Beacon of Hope advisory board member, Maktoum Mohammed, traveled with the Emirates Red Crescent to deliver relief supplies to the residents, and our beacon-in-a-box solar light kits to Puerto Rican youth. This small light, which will light the dark night for these children, is a gesture of unity from the UAE to the USA.
